France comes to Santa Barbara! Outdoor vendors and sidewalk cafes.
Tables with umbrellas and checkered tablecloths. Fresh baked french
breads and pastries. Classic and nouvelle cuisine and regional
specialties. Crepes, onion soup, quiche, pates, sausage, escargots,
Cajun and French
Moroccan food, salads and cheeses. Beer, wine, sparking Champagne.
Orangina,
Perrier, and frothy cafe au lait. Chef Michel Richard says it's like
going
to France without paying for it. Unique in Western
U.S.A.
Over 20,000 happy people are French for the
weekend. Outdoors under the sun in Santa Barbara's beautiful Oak Park.

Classical recitals. Roving jugglers, mimes and troubadours. A complete schedule with performance times will be distributed at the Festival.

Watercolor paintings of Provence and Paris by Steve Hoegerman, Director of the French Festival and leader of Journeys to Hidden Provence, will be on display the month of July in the lobby of the Public Library in downtown Santa Barbara.
